Revlon Colorstay with Softflex -vs- Revlon Colorstay Active Light?

Revlon Colorstay with Softflex -VS- Revlon Colorstay Active Light?

I am leaving in 1 hour to purchase one of these foundations. I%26#039;m lost as which to get. I have pretty good skin, a bit of a oily T zone, and uneven tone though. I don%26#039;t need to cover scars, I just need a decent foundation that stays put for the most part and wont run off if I sweat a little at work. I do have a few lines around my eyes and I don%26#039;t want them standing out big time. Any suggestions? Remember I have 1 hour! LOL
Revlon Colorstay with Softflex -vs- Revlon Colorstay Active Light?
I prefer the Soft Flex between the two. It%26#039;s a really good product, and not to throw a wrench in everything, but Rimmel Long Lasting Foundation with Minerals is cheaper, more natural looking, has better coverage, and lasts until you wash it off. I like it better than the Soft Flex, and I quit buying Soft Flex because it went up to $12.00, which I think is ridiculous. The Rimmel is only $7.00.

Keep makeup on throughout the school day?

Okay so i apply my makeup, i first put lotion or a mositozer and then everything else. But throughout the day my eyelids get all dry and itchy and then i look like a racoon. My eyeshodow will rub off and i will be left with mascara and smudges dark circles around my eyes where i had eyeliner. Help!
Keep makeup on throughout the school day?
well first do NOT touch your face at all!!!!! and try not to squince your eyes or anything. as for the dryness, try getting a major moisturizer like burt bee%26#039;s night cream. that stuff will leave your face sooo soft all day. and make sure no matter what moisturizer you get, apply it at night because when you sleep you face absorbs moisture better than when your awake and moving around. Make sure your not putting too much moisturizer on either before you apply your makeup because if you do the makeup won%26#039;t absorb into your skin and just kinda slip of quickly. So yea i hope this helps girly!! %26quot;)
Keep makeup on throughout the school day?
apply an eyeshadow primer first to keep your eye liner from smudging, or try a cream eyeliner such as HiP cream eyeliner or MAC%26#039;s fluidline.
Reply:Well I think it might be the habbit part that you need to change. Sometimes your eyes might itch, but don%26#039;t itch them! You may be allergic to your eye makeup which will make your eyes itch. When it comes to eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara (anything you put on your eyes) don%26#039;t go cheap! Actually with anything you apply to your face don%26#039;t go cheap. I use Clinique everything - its dermatologist (skin MD) and opthmologist (eye MD) tested and made with safe, allergenic-free ingredients and is used by makeup artists and celebs. Here are some of my fave products that I wear to school (and i%26#039;m 13 so they%26#039;re safe!):

Clinique Almost Powder Foundation SPF 15 - its flawless and you can%26#039;t even feel it and is recommended for younger ages.

Clinique NEW Quick Eyes Cream Shadow in color Muffin - it stays on all day for up to 16 hours and is complete neutral with just a hint of shimmer. Will not rub off, but don%26#039;t rub it anyways!

Clinique Cream Shaper For Eyes in color Egyptian - its also safe for even sensitive eyes and stays on all day. Still yet, don%26#039;t rub!!!

Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara in color jet black - it looks natural and healthy, but you may want to look into a smear-proof/water-proof mascara for your situation, but this particular product is recommended for sensitive eyes.

Clinique Soft-Pressed Powder Blush in color Mocha Pink - very pretty and neutral! its just a must-have. =)

Clinique Full Potential Plump and Shine - its a lipgloss just in case you%26#039;re interested, and comes in the most fabulicious colors!

Hope this helps. and stick with your morning routine. Wash your face, and tone, and moisturize. Apply your makeup when your face is completely dry! Try not to touch your face, not only is it going to mess up your makeup, it can put germs in your eyes and on your face. =)
Reply:if you dont touch your face, you will decrease your smudging. what me and my friends do, is apply makeup at home or at school in the morning. then before lunch, we re-apply or at various times in the mid morning.

it might help if you dont add ALOT of makeup because then it wont smudge as easy, but if you must, i still sugest you NEVER touch your face. your hands are most likley dirty. and bacteria, dirt, oil, and God knows what else is in your face {producing... ACNE!!!} so just never touch it.
Reply:okay i had the same peoblem with the itchiness

you might have a little bit of eczma

its easy to overcome though

use oilatum or e45 cream

dab lightly under eye before you put on makeup and before you go to sleep

next to stop your makeup smudging

if your on a high budgit got for benefit she laq

its a waterproof liquid that you dab into eyeshadow powder

it then turns into liquid

it is compltetely smudge free and only crumbles off if rubbed really hard so wont smudgeyou can also put the lique on top of your mascara to stop it smudging

if youre on a low budget go for

2tru or barry m waterproof eyeliner

and xxl volume waterproof mascara

to cover up the itchiness

use ysl concealer

its light and wont itch your eyelids

hope i helped

they work well or

Please help me with my makeup routine.?

I have to go to summer school this summer and volunteer hours

and i need a simple makeup routine that%26#039;s easy but cute ;)

Right now for school ( I%26#039;m 14)

I wear

* CG Clean makeup ( For pimples)

* Maybelline eyeliner

* Lancome eyeshadow

* Rimmel mascara

* Light tinted lipgloss

oh and under all that some spf 15 aveeno moisturizer

I don%26#039;t have time this summer to put too much makeup on and it%26#039;s too hot to keep it under control.

So how can i tone it down a little but still look nice?
Please help me with my makeup routine.?
if you are light coloured use lots of mascara to make your eyes stand out well.

use bottom eyeliner.

and just use conceler to cover up major outstanding bits on your face,

hope it helps.

xx
Please help me with my makeup routine.?
Face: Liquid foundation will melt off your face in the heat so just use concealer if possible switch to a powder foundation. If you must wear liquid set it with a translucent powder.

Eyes: Use a light colored eyeshadow. Curl your lashes and apply a light mascara. Skip eyeliner it will run.

Lips: nothing fancy, just maybe chapstick

Hope this helps =)
Reply:u can just put eyeliner and mascara and lip gloss.

not to apply cream for pimples and that sort of things because in summer it would become tooooooooooo oily.

apply compaq powder before applying all these things, it would look really verynice.
Reply:Because it%26#039;s so hot out, I would suggest that you loose the eyeshadow, and once you%26#039;re out of school, lose the concealer too. That way, your skin can heal without all that extra pimple-causing oil on your face. Keep the moisturizer at all times because it%26#039;ll reduce your risk of skin cancer because of the SPF. I would say that all you really need is mascara and then some lip gloss, and save the eyeliner for going out at night with friends. I hope that helped!

What brush should i use?

i have this mayebelline shine free loose powder

it came iwth a puff but i hated the look it gave me

is there a good cheap brush i can use from like target .......essence of beauty ...ulta ....sally%26#039;s.... thank you
What brush should i use?
a big fluffy brush will give even coverage, essence of beauty sells an ok one, but I think sonia kashuk has one that is also good.
What brush should i use?
I love my Sonia Kashuk brushes~~ I bought mine in cosmetic section at Target.

The bristles feel so soft as I apply my mineral makeup, so they dont irritate my face. Also the bristles do not fall out.

1st I bought a large poofy type brush to apply foundation %26amp; blush. Just wanted to try the Kashuk makeup brush to see if I liked it.

It works great %26amp; applies my makeup smoothly %26amp; evenly. Hopefully it will work for you. (I dont like the puff that comes with loose powder either).

BareMinerals?

Okay, so my sister gave me bareminerals starterkit for christmas and like i used to use it but it didnt really cover up anything, it just looked the same or changed the color of my skin.

Now, i turned to haevy foundation and i dont know whats wrong here?
BareMinerals?
Are you asking how to apply liquid foundation? Or are you asking how to apply powder foundation? Or are you asking how to apply them both and what are you wanting to cover?
BareMinerals?
Bareminerals doesn%26#039;t cover-up, it just evens out.
Reply:Try applying the foundation with the Buki brush. It gives heavier coverage. Sometimes I don%26#039;t wear my Bare Minerals because I want fuller coverage, and no matter what you do, Bare Minerals is a sheer coverage product. It might not be the right makeup for you. I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s a very good concealer either. Basically what is does is tone everything down and kind of blend it all together, but it doesn%26#039;t provide coverage. Sometimes I will wear regular concealer, and then apply Bare Minerals foundation over that. This works really well, so you can try that too. Also, when you are putting the Bare Minerals on a pimple or red spot, make sure you use the Concealer brush. Sometimes I wear regular foundation and apply the Mineral Veil over that. The Mineral Veil makes the foundation look very smooth and controls shine. I like to use Vanilla Sugar eyeshadow as a concealer because I have olive skin, and the peach tones in the shadow work very well for me. The point is you have to experiment with the products and think outside the box a little bit. I%26#039;ll always wear Bare Minerals, but I wear other brands too.

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder?

http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/p...

Anyone know anything about this product? Does it help control shine and oil? My skin is fairly pale, acne-prone and combination (oily and dry).
Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder?
I%26#039;m very sensitive to make up as well and not able to wear this brand. I%26#039;ve had the best luck with True make up and use the loose powder. I bought it from my aesthetician. Good luck
Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder?
I use this product everyday. I haven%26#039;t had a prblem with acne since I have used it. I wouldn%26#039;t reccomend this product if you wan%26#039;t full coverage beacuse it doesn%26#039;t work well on covering. I would also try http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/p... That stuff works well also. I personally prefer this stuff. I still is the mineral wear stuff but gives a better coverage. The producted you question does prevent shine and oil. I would give it a try. I reccomend getting it from Wallgreens or Walmart beacuse theirp rices are way cheaper.
