I was just wondering,how some women get the dark line around their lips like that is is makeup,or is it really their lips?

it is make up it is called lip liner i think it was popular in like the nineties

It%26#039;s dark brown lip liner...but I wouldn%26#039;t suggest doing that. It doesn%26#039;t look good.

looks weird to me but it%26#039;s easy you just trace around your lips with lipliner

Reply:It is make up in the second picture and probably in the first too but enhanced by a lip pencil. A line around the lips are common in women of color whether african american or indian or whatever color, but they may have lip liner on.

Reply:Both. it is most likely the result of lip liner. However, I have known only 2 women over the course of my life that have had these lines naturally.
Reply:that is lip liner. it is almost the same as eye liner so yes you can buy it. it was a really big fashion in the 90s to wear lip liner. i guess to make peoples lips look fuller. not a good idea to wear it now unless it matches your lips almost exactly.

Reply:it%26#039;s lip liner. you can use a lip pencil that%26#039;s a slight shade darker than your lipstick to line the outside or your lips and then blend and smooth the line with your finger. then apply your lipstick.

Reply:This used to be very popular in the nineties. People would put dark berry or chocolate lip liner around the lips, then some would go over it with a lighter or sheer color lip gloss/stick.





I used to do this and loved the look it gave me. Was especially great for going out at night. Very dramatic.
