I am leaving in 1 hour to purchase one of these foundations. I%26#039;m lost as which to get. I have pretty good skin, a bit of a oily T zone, and uneven tone though. I don%26#039;t need to cover scars, I just need a decent foundation that stays put for the most part and wont run off if I sweat a little at work. I do have a few lines around my eyes and I don%26#039;t want them standing out big time. Any suggestions? Remember I have 1 hour! LOL

It%26#039;s a really good product, and not to throw a wrench in everything, but Rimmel Long Lasting Foundation with Minerals is cheaper, more natural looking, has better coverage, and lasts until you wash it off. I like it better than the Soft Flex, and I quit buying Soft Flex because it went up to $12.00, which I think is ridiculous. The Rimmel is only $7.00.

Keep makeup on throughout the school day?
Okay so i apply my makeup, i first put lotion or a mositozer and then everything else. But throughout the day my eyelids get all dry and itchy and then i look like a racoon. My eyeshodow will rub off and i will be left with mascara and smudges dark circles around my eyes where i had eyeliner. Help!

well first do NOT touch your face at all!!!!! and try not to squince your eyes or anything. as for the dryness, try getting a major moisturizer like burt bee%26#039;s night cream. that stuff will leave your face sooo soft all day. and make sure no matter what moisturizer you get, apply it at night because when you sleep you face absorbs moisture better than when your awake and moving around. Make sure your not putting too much moisturizer on either before you apply your makeup because if you do the makeup won%26#039;t absorb into your skin and just kinda slip of quickly. it might help if you dont add ALOT of makeup because then it wont smudge as easy, but if you must, i still sugest you NEVER touch your face. your hands are most likley dirty. and bacteria, dirt, oil, and God knows what else is in your face {producing... ACNE!!!} so just never touch it.

oh and under all that some spf 15 aveeno moisturizer

if you are light coloured use lots of mascara to make your eyes stand out well.
use bottom eyeliner.
and just use conceler to cover up major outstanding bits on your face,

Face: Liquid foundation will melt off your face in the heat so just use concealer if possible switch to a powder foundation. If you must wear liquid set it with a translucent powder.
Eyes: Use a light colored eyeshadow. Curl your lashes and apply a light mascara. Skip eyeliner it will run.
Lips: nothing fancy, just maybe chapstick

Sometimes I don%26#039;t wear my Bare Minerals because I want fuller coverage, and no matter what you do, Bare Minerals is a sheer coverage product. It might not be the right makeup for you. I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s a very good concealer either. Basically what is does is tone everything down and kind of blend it all together, but it doesn%26#039;t provide coverage. Sometimes I will wear regular concealer, and then apply Bare Minerals foundation over that. This works really well, so you can try that too. Also, when you are putting the Bare Minerals on a pimple or red spot, make sure you use the Concealer brush. Sometimes I wear regular foundation and apply the Mineral Veil over that. The Mineral Veil makes the foundation look very smooth and controls shine. I like to use Vanilla Sugar eyeshadow as a concealer because I have olive skin, and the peach tones in the shadow work very well for me. Embarassing mustache?
This is really hard for me to write because it bothers me so much. It is so embarassing. But when I was the age of 10 I started to shave above my lip. The reason why is because I use to get made fun of a lot.... because im a girl and I had a mustache.
Im sure having the judgement of a 10 year old mind wasnt sure a great idea to shave it. But now im 22.... and i still shave above my lip.... and no matter how i shave you can see a gray shadow about my lip. Everytime i look in the mirror im disgcusted with myself. I sometimes wonder if people can notice.
So.. i still shave it.. and on top of that i put foundation over it....I have tried so many foundation but that doesnt seem to cover up the grey shadow i have. I have even tried bleaching it... but my hair is so dark and thick from shaving all the years... it does not help.
I am i the only girl who does this? And what should i do? Please help.

Reply:Trust me your not the only girl that has this problem.! Yes it is embarrassing. There are many solutions. Many people would suggest waxing. but all that really does it make it grow in darker and thicker. The same goes with shaving. One idea is to try facial hair bleaches such as some of these from http://www.sallyhansen.com/category.cfm?... You can find these at your local drug store or walmart. They are very cheap and last for 6+ weeks. Since you say that they don%26#039;t work, you must be doing some thing wrong. Follow the directions step by step and you might have to do it a cople of times till it is your disored color. You%26#039;ll never know you have a mustache. Another solution is laser hair removal. The cons of laser hair removal are that it is not the most pleasent thing your face will feel, and can be quit costly. But you%26#039;ll never have to shave it agian cause in a couple treatments it will permentaly be gone. Also never never pluck it it will only grow in thicker. The best solutitons for your case seems like bleaching it or getting it laser removed. But please please don%26#039;t let it hurt your self-esteem.

Reply:You need to start waxing it. use sallyhansen wax and just do it, as you wax it more the hairs will start to grow back less often and the gray shadow will disappear. In between waxes bleach stray hairs. Also stop putting foundation on it, make up clings to any hairs and makes them more visible. Reply:Trust me your not the only girl that has this problem.! Yes it is embarrassing. There are many solutions. Many people would suggest waxing. but all that really does it make it grow in darker and thicker. The same goes with shaving. One idea is to try facial hair bleaches such as some of these from http://www.sallyhansen.com/category.cfm?... You can find these at your local drug store or walmart. They are very cheap and last for 6+ weeks. Since you say that they don%26#039;t work, you must be doing some thing wrong. Follow the directions step by step and you might have to do it a cople of times till it is your disored color. You%26#039;ll never know you have a mustache. Another solution is laser hair removal. The cons of laser hair removal are that it is not the most pleasent thing your face will feel, and can be quit costly. But you%26#039;ll never have to shave it agian cause in a couple treatments it will permentaly be gone. Also never never pluck it it will only grow in thicker. The best solutitons for your case seems like bleaching it or getting it laser removed. But please please don%26#039;t let it hurt your self-esteem.

Reply:You need to start waxing it. use sallyhansen wax and just do it, as you wax it more the hairs will start to grow back less often and the gray shadow will disappear. In between waxes bleach stray hairs. Also stop putting foundation on it, make up clings to any hairs and makes them more visible. Your not the only one with a mustache I have one too and sometime when I forget to wax it I shave it because it bothers be so much. don%26#039;t worry about it and I hope this helps!
Reply:Don%26#039;t shave it WAX it. It hurts but waxing is closer than shaving and after waxing you%26#039;ll have to pluck out the %26quot;stray%26quot; hairs that waxing missed. OR you can save up and get it lasered off.

Go to a Sephora if you have one, they let you try everything on before you buy it. Reply:1. Having green eyes (you are lucky) You can pretty much get away with wearing whatever color you like. Greens, Hazels...and Pinks and oranges look best with green eyes though. Revlon is a good brand believe it or not. It comes with the Lightest shade..that you apply up to your brow bone...it comes with the medium shade that goes on your lid...and the darkest shade that you put into the crease of your eye..and the corners. It has directions to do all on the back of the eyeshadow...you may need to peel away a label. LOL.
2. to create the smokey effect. Put on your eyeshadow...following the directions..lol....then...using a pencil liner...(which is the best) I would suggest revlon or maybelline...line the upper lid...closest to your lashes as possible...and the lower lid...right along your lash line...take a q tip and smudge the line..after you are done...then take the darkest color of eye shadow...you want to put it on the tip of your eyeshadow applicator...and put it along the top lid..closest to the eye lashes as possible...and right where you put your liner on the bottom lid.

Put on your eyeshadow...following the directions..lol....then...using a pencil liner...(which is the best) I would suggest revlon or maybelline...line the upper lid...closest to your lashes as possible...and the lower lid...right along your lash line...take a q tip and smudge the line..after you are done...then take the darkest color of eye shadow...you want to put it on the tip of your eyeshadow applicator...and put it along the top lid..closest to the eye lashes as possible...and right where you put your liner on the bottom lid.

if you don%26#039;t have the steadiest hand, opt for a black eyeliner pen, they can be expensive, but bourjois does a good one. then on the bottom, use just a kohl pencil, it should be a smouldering one, if you have enought money, get bad gal by benefit.

It helps to pull the skin taut with your other hand, if you need your line to be steadier. i.e., pull on the skin beside the outside of your eye.
Draw a thin line right against your top lash line...you can make it a bit thicker as it gets towards the outer corner. Then do a thin line on the bottom, too...but stop a little more than halfway across, leaving the inner corner bare. Try to either taper the point off, or blend it in so it isnt%26#039; too abrupt when it stops.

Sometimes in beauty magazines, they have these charts where you can look up your skin tone and hair color/eye color and see what shade of lipstick/gloss looks good on you.
You might wanna look for one of those.

Walgreens!!! It works overnight. Put it on per intructions with any moisturizer. And then let it work overnight. In the morning of the party for the makeup, follow these instructions.
-Put concealer under your eye circles, and on your smile lines by the corners and your mouth up to your nose. Next get your foundation-I recommend the Dream Matte Mousse foundation in your color...its a Mousse and gives your skin a mAtte gorgeous finish like a supermodel. Apply everywhere. I mean everywhere! THey apply a translucent power over to lock it in. Then go about apply the rest of your makeup.

Normally benefit%26#039;s products are top notch and they do a really good liquid foundation that covers up and still looks really natural. They also have a powder foundation called %26#039;get even%26#039; (which i use daily) It gives a flawless finish andcorrects any reddness which is awesome for me.

I feel like it is not covering up all my blemishes and i kept putting it on more and it doesnt seem to do it, what would you recomend and i dont have the bare minerals consealer i am considering buying it but not sure if it will help or not?

I know how you feel. I have Bare Minerals and yea it doesn%26#039;t cover much but it does a decent job and makes it look natural. Don%26#039;t buy the Bare Minerals concealer. It doesn%26#039;t make a difference because I have it. You might have to buy a seperate concealer (probably cream or liquid) to put first and maybe a good primer before you put anything else. I have VERY bad skin so maybe this is just according to me but I do suggeest you to get a really good concealer. And don%26#039;t keep on re-applying the Bare Minerals because it will make your skin look dry and/or cakey.

It would be a waste because it would never stay on. Instead, wash your face well and use facial cleanser so your face looks fresh and bright. This is the natural way of enhancing your skin, and I am sure no one will even notice bad skin.

A couple of ideas for you:
Make sure you clean ALL the makeup off every night.

I need my skin to look amazing for a night out next week. Which foundation is the best? I have normal/dry skin, a few spots but nothing too big. I want a pretty medium coverge, don%26#039;t want it looking like i%26#039;ve caked it on though.

wash off your eyes lids, rub eye lases most
mascara should come off, then put johnson%26amp;johnsons
baby oil of a Q-tip and gently rub it under your eye.
It absolutely removes everything and its soo cheap.
The baby oil lasts for a long time.
Make sure you dont get the oil in your eye.

I%26#039;ve done a bunch of research and asked a couple questions regarding this issue. I just don%26#039;t want to walk out of Macy%26#039;s looking like a fool and wasting my time. I%26#039;ve been getting mixed answers when it comes to which brand doing the best makeup. Many say MAC, while others scare me and heavily disagree saying I%26#039;ll come out looking caked on with makeup.
The look I%26#039;m going for is a Jennifer Lopez %26#039;glowey%26#039; skin that is flawless [I have some acne scaring here and there from my teen years]...by July I%26#039;ll be nice and tan..

Reply:Okk. Here what I do. It ONLY work with Tan skin. Only only only. So get a tan or use the Jergen%26#039;s Gradual Tanner. The super fast 3 day one. I smile and get some bronzer on the apples of my cheeks then following up to my brow bone with the rest of my cheekbone, and also get some bronzer across the bridge of your nose. For eyes, use browns. I use a brown liner and line the top and bottom, then I use a 2 shades of brown shadow and smudge it together. Then a brown OR black (preferablely brown) mascara. Then add the pink glittery lipgloss like The Kimora Lee Simmons Succulent Melon. Google it to see what I mean. The gorgeous tan and hot pink with the popping brown eyes give you a summer glow without really having to spend hours in the sun!

I have really short eyelashes, and no mascara really worked, curlers pulled them out..
So I%26#039;ve recently begun to wear fake ones and I love them!
But so far the longest they%26#039;ve lasted is two days..
My first pair, I have no idea what happened. I went to take them off and Boom!I The strands were all twisted and tangled. D: And no matter how hard I tried I could get them back to normal. Those were made out of human hair.
Then I tried another pair, but AFTER I toke them off they were mangled too..And I rubbed them as gently as I could.
So I tried some plastic ones. I didn%26#039;t really like how they l=were shiny, but they felt sturdier nonetheless. But when I toke them of they just fell apart!
I used plain Baby Oil to get them off, so I was wondering if maybe thats what made them fall apart? Or if it was just because they were cheap.
I heard MAC lashes were good. I don%26#039;t mind spending more money, I just want to make sure they won%26#039;t fall apart!

Reply:Forget what they said, some men are very attractive in eyeliner. But makeup is makeup. There are certain products that are customized for a man, but that mostly skincare (men actually have thicker skin on their faces than women). But you can get to Walmart or Target for something simple and inexpensive. Go with Loreal (best consumer grade).

Reply:you should definitly get a different hairstyle, the one you have makes you look really kidish. your bangs really need to come out more and thenwear it back so you can see your eye brows. um some light eye makeup would help, like do eyeliner (a light brownish color would be good because i think black would be too dark for you)

Accent the corners of your eyes with a darker eyeshadow..
Add mascara and a touch of soft pink lip gloss to make your lips pop!

Although I like your hair. Is it red or auburn or brown? I can%26#039;t really tell but it appears to lean more to the red from the color spectrum. In that case, I think you should use this guide:

Keep it simple at first lest you end up looking whorish (I made that mistake when I first started wearing makeup (MaryKay blech) as a teen... anyways I digress - Some lip stain, a neutral eyeshadow, some mascara and some blush.
Your skin seems smooth so I would just go with a light moisturizing bronzer:
