What makeup should I be wearing when swimming?

I might go swimming in Pennsylvania in August. In August that place is HUMID %26amp; HOT. I have REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY [times infiniti] bad skin so I never go outside w/o makeup. What type of makeup should I be wearing when swimming? Because I want as much coverage as I can when I%26#039;m still getting wet in the water =/

Please help, THANKS! =]

No matter how bad your skin is, you shouldn%26#039;t wear makeup because it will all wash off. Even the waterproof kinds will wash of you are constantly going underwater. It would be a waste because it would never stay on. Instead, wash your face well and use facial cleanser so your face looks fresh and bright. This is the natural way of enhancing your skin, and I am sure no one will even notice bad skin.

Hey! I live in Pennsylvania! Haha, I can tell you it is hot hot hot. Blech!

But um, I would say either waterproof makeup that actually IS waterproof, or no makeup at all. I swim competively, and it%26#039;s just a whole lot easier if you don%26#039;t wear makeup, because it will most likely just run everywhere.
Reply:waterproof, but that stuff is hard to get off.
Reply:It%26#039;s true, people look ridiculous when they wear makeup and go swimming because it starts to run and smear. It makes people look very vain because it%26#039;s not practical at all to wear makeup when swimming. I know you want to look good, but you should be focused more on having fun and not feeling self-conscious about your makeup running. It%26#039;s best to not wear any makeup when swimming. If you have bad skin, make sure the makeup you wear on a regular basis is oil free and definitely don%26#039;t touch your face too much. Your hands have oil on them that can transfer to your face and cause pimples.

Oh yeah, it%26#039;s definitely a good thing to wear a SPF sunscreen when swimming outside though.
Reply:Wear All Waterproof

And Consealer Wont Come Off In Water

Other Things Such As Eye Liner Or Eye shaddow Will Run!!
Reply:Just sun screen, wearing makeup while swimming is just plain silly.
Reply:usually none. unless you are just going to be standing there doing nothing, no makeup is the prerogative. people really dont notice bad skin as much as you think they do, and besides you%26#039;re going to be in a pool, where its most likely going to be sunny, and some people might be wearing goggles and some might be wearing sunglasses, and some people might be splashing...in the end, its not worth it to keep your face out of the water and say, %26quot;Okay everyone, don%26#039;t splash me or get me wet because I think I have really bad skin and I put on a lot of makeup.%26quot; Just enjoy yourself and don%26#039;t worry about your face, because no one else will. So, none, really. No makeup.
Reply:It sounds as if either a) you are allergic to the makeup or b) your pores are chronically infected.

A couple of ideas for you:

Make sure you clean ALL the makeup off every night.

ALWAYS use disposable makeup applicators

NEVER apply non-sterile products to running sores.

There are special waterproof makeups with sunscreen built in.
Reply:keep make up to a minimal and WATERPROOF

mascara I would avoid! (unless tested)

if its ur skin your worried about try finding some er, waterproof concealer hmm let me google it

hey! apparently maybelline does one. right try that

and try taking a bath with ur make up (just in case)

also sunscreen! tans are sexy but not worth the 10x quicker skin aging :O

OR skin cancer
Reply:First off why wear makeup while swimming? But if you really want to i suggest: dont wear waterproof! your eyelashes will fall out!!!!! second you could wear sensitive skin eye shadow that will probably not stay on as good as regular but will leave a bit of colour! dont wear anything else or you will look like you came out of a rodeo show! trust me! :)
